I feel like the "trigger warning" debate circles around on Author Twitter every few months, and every time it comes up there is always discussion between balancing warnings with spoilers, and I always feel conflicted about what's best for my readers. So I'm offering my warnings here on an opt-in basis, with as much granularity as seems useful but without being too explicitly spoilery. This is a work in progress, and I sincerely apologize if I've forgotten to warn for something and it affects you unduly. If you have more specific content questions about any of my work, you can always reach out to me at tlbodine (at) gmail.com and I'll be happy to clarify for you.
I recommend F4 to search for the title of the book you're curious about. That should save you some time with scrolling. Note that I've only listed warnings here of my novels and blanket warnings for story collections; I imagine the odds of an average reader encountering one of my short stories on its own before finding my website are pretty high, so individual warnings are less helpful.
Blanket Warning
As a writer of horror and dark fantasy, all of my stories will include some horror elements. It's best to assume that all of my work will include some amount of violence and gore. I also very often write stories about unhealthy relationships and dysfunctional families. If you are highly sensitive to these themes, you probably won't have a good time with my books. Finally, you can expect all of my books to include some amount of swearing/adult language.
